During February, the annual analyses of the activities of audit departments and other directorates for 2025 were conducted at the premises of the ALSAI. The meetings were organized with the aim of assessing the progress of audits carried out during 2025, analyzing the results and identifying objectives for further improving audit processes and institutional work as a whole.

In his speech, the Chairman of the ALSAI, Mr. Arben Shehu, appreciating the commitment and results achieved during 2025, emphasized the importance of audits of each department in increasing the effectiveness, efficiency and economy in the use of public funds.

Emphasizing the strengthening of professional standards, Mr. Shehu encouraged inter-institutional cooperation and coordination between auditors to achieve common institutional objectives. The Chairman of the ALSAI also requested from each employee the full fulfillment of institutional duties with correctness, responsibility and professionalism.

During the analyses with each structure, work priorities for 2026 were also discussed, setting clear objectives for increasing the quality and impact of audit work in the service of transparency, accountability and public interest.
