Within the framework of increasing and strengthening cooperation with stakeholders, including civil society organizations, The State Supreme Audit of Albania (ALSAI) recently signed two co-operation agreements.

On 27.01.2026, the President of ALSAI, Mr. Arben Shehu signed the Cooperation Agreement with the Institute for Democracy and Mediation, represented by the Executive Director, Mr. Sotiraq Hroni, reconfirming the continuation of IDM engagement. This agreement focuses on the public interest in increasing transparency, strengthening integrity, fighting and preventing corruption, and increasing accountability in public finance management, highlighting the need for a comprehensive approach to society in the function of good and effective governance by public institutions.

The second cooperation agreement was signed on 29.01.2026 with the organization “Faktoje.al”, represented by the Executive Chairman, Ms. Klodiana Kapo. This agreement aims to cooperate between ALSAI and the organization “Faktoje” within the project “Truths Beyond Numbers”, with support from the MATRA program of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Tirana.
