As part of the celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of its establishment, the Audit Office of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized, on October 8–9, 2025 the Regional Conference on the “Audit Quality Management System.”

The event focused on the exchange of experiences, strengthening cooperation among Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) and addressing current challenges related to Audit Quality Management Systems in the public sector.

The event brought together representatives from the Supreme Audit Institutions of Sweden, Poland, Croatia, Turkey, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Georgia, Montenegro, Moldova, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Albania, as well as representatives of international organizations, including SIGMA/OECD.

The conference aimed to facilitate the exchange of experiences on the implementation of audit quality management systems, discuss challenges and best practices in ensuring the quality of audit work, and strengthen the institutional capacities of SAIs in line with the revised ISSAI 140.

ALSAI’s participation in this conference marks an important step towards strengthening regional cooperation and knowledge exchange.
