From 23 to 25 June, the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution participated in the international workshop on Audit Quality Management, held in Istanbul and organized by the Swedish National Audit Office.

The workshop brought together representatives from 12 Supreme Audit Institutions, who presented their experiences with the implementation of ISSAI 140. Particular emphasis was placed on the approaches adopted by their respective institutions in implementing the standard, the practices that have proven successful, and the challenges encountered throughout the implementation process.

Over the course of the three-day workshop, in addition to the country presentations, participants engaged in professional discussions on approaches and best practices for the effective implementation of ISSAI 140, with a focus on strengthening quality management systems within Supreme Audit Institutions. Participants also exchanged ideas and identified priority topics to be addressed in future workshops, with the aim of further enhancing cooperation and sharing experiences among institutions.

The ALSAI was represented at the workshop by Ms. Arminda Bushi, Principal Auditor, and Ms. Laura Lila, Director of the Directorate of Communication and External Relations.
