In the framework of the 100th anniversary of its establishment, the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution (ALSAI) organized an open lecture with students of the Faculty of Business at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës, on May 22, 2025. This activity was held as part of the program for the involvement of young people in issues of transparency, accountability and good governance.

The lecture on the topic “100 years of reliability, integrity and service to citizens – the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution as a guarantor of transparency and good governance in Albania” was held by Ms. Xhesila Nano, senior auditor at the ALSAI.

In her speech, Ms. Nano presented the historical journey and current role of the institution, emphasizing the importance of the supervision of public finances as an essential element of a state of law and its democratic functioning.

The Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Business, Dr. Silvana Gashi, thanked the ALSAI for its contribution to the professional education of students and for its continued commitment in building bridges of cooperation with higher education institutions.

Through these initiatives, the ALSAI aims to strengthen civic awareness and support the formation of a new generation of professionals in the field of public administration and auditing.
