Following the activities of the 100th anniversary of its establishment, the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution (ALSAI) held an open lecture with students of the Faculty of Law at the University of Tirana on May 9, 2025, bringing closer to them the role of the institution in strengthening transparency and good governance in Albania. The lecture on the topic “100 years of reliability, integrity and service to citizens – the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution as a guarantor of transparency and good governance in Albania” was held by the senior auditor, Ms. Miranda Misini.
Ms. Misini presented the historical and current role of the ALSAI as one of the earliest institutions of the Albanian state and emphasized its mission in supporting the rule of law, through strengthening transparency, accountability and good governance.
As host of the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Dorina Hoxha, thanked the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution for its commitment to the professional education of students at this important historical moment.
Through continuous cooperation with higher education institutions and organizing meetings with students, the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution aims to make a substantial contribution to the formation of new generations of professionals.
On May 20, 2025, the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution marks 100 years since its establishment as the highest public finance control institution in the country.
