As part of the activities for the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution, on 20.05.2025, the Albanian Post issued a new series of two postage stamps, as well as a first day envelope, personalized with the logo “100th Anniversary of the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution”.

The first stamp features the portrait of Mr. Fejzi Alizoti, who was the first head of the institution that at that time bore the name of the Audit Council. Mr. Alizoti was a politician, economist and diplomat with a prominent contribution to the Albanian public administration, including the position of Minister of Finance. In May 1925, Fejzi Alizoti was elected Chairman of the Audit Council, starting a new era in the financial supervision of the Albanian state. The second stamp features the current official emblem of the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution, representing the continuity of the institutional history and the unchanged mission of protecting the public interest.

The first day envelope includes both stamps, as well as the original bilingual stamp in Albanian and French of the Financial Audit Council that was used in the first years of its operation until the period of the Albanian Kingdom, giving special philatelic and historical value to this series.

The new series of postage stamps and the personalized envelope with the 100th anniversary logo of the Albanian Supreme Audit Office are now available at all points of the Albanian Post, becoming an important object for collectors, public institutions and citizens who appreciate the history and institutional heritage of Albania.
