On May 19, 2025, the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution began the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the institution’s establishment with a traditional Albanian evening to welcome senior representatives from delegations of supreme audit institutions and international partners.

The Chairman of the ALSAI, Mr. Arben Shehu, greeted the attendees and expressed his gratitude for their presence at this historic jubilee. In his speech, Mr. Shehu praised the cooperation between audit institutions that share a common mission: strengthening transparency, accountability and good governance in the service of citizens.

The festive evening opened with the exchange of symbolic gifts and took place in a friendly atmosphere. Those present had the opportunity to get to know Albanian values through hospitality, traditional music, elements of national culture and the characteristic cuisine of our country.

This symbolic activity became a bridge of communication between counterpart audit institutions, thus giving a broader dimension to the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution.
