Within the framework of the Peer Review Mission on Countering Organised Crime and Corruption, the Chairman of the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution, Mr. Arben Shehu held a meeting with European Commission experts on April 7, 2025.

During the meeting, Mr. Shehu emphasized the commitment of the ALSAI to implementing all legal and institutional obligations, as well as ensuring continuous cooperation with all law enforcement institutions, and highlighted that the institution is committed to increasing transparency and accountability in the management of public finances, with the aim of preventing corruption and organized crime. In attendance at the meeting were also the Secretary General, Director of the Directorate of Communication, Publishing and Foreign Relations, and representatives from the Legal Directorate.
