On May 13, 2025, students of the “Ismail Qemali” University in Vlora participated in an open lecture organized by the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution (ALSAI), within the framework of the 100th anniversary of its establishment.

The lecture was delivered by Ms. Miranda Misini, Senior Auditor at the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution, who shared with the students the mission, history and role of the institution as the supreme audit body in the country. During her speech, Ms. Misini emphasized the importance of external public audit as an essential mechanism for building a state with integrity, transparency and accountability in the service of citizens. Representatives of the University of Vlora, hosts of this activity, expressed high appreciation for the commitment of the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution in raising awareness and professional education of the younger generation.

Students had the opportunity to learn more about how the ALSAI functions and the importance of auditing and control in public administration.

Through these meetings, the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution aims to build bridges of cooperation with educational institutions and promote the active involvement of young people in issues of good governance and public transparency.
