The President of the Republic, Mr. Bujar Nishani awards the "Medal of Gratitude" to Dr. Jacek Jezierski and Dr. Igor Šoltes

The President of the Republic, Mr. Bujar Nishani awarded the "Medal of Gratitude" to the President of the Slovenian Court of Accounts, Dr. Igor Šoltes and to the President of the National Audit Office of Poland, Dr. Jacek Jezierski, with the motivation: "For the contribution and the valuable support in the progress of the Supreme State Audit Institution ".

While greeting the participants at the award ceremony, the President of the Republic expressed gratitude to the partners of Albania, stating that partnership and cooperation are fundamental and indispensable for the institution to build and achieve the required standards.
He mentioned that the Supreme State Control has faced many challenges and achievements in the last 20 years. The President stressed out the importance of the cooperation between Supreme Audit Institutions, and monitoring service provided by them in order to reach transparency and good management of public assets and property of citizens.
The President emphasized that the integration process will not be sustainable in the future with no proper partnership, cooperation and assistance of partners and friends of Albania.
The president of the Slovenian Court of Accounts, Dr. Igor Šoltes expressed his gratitude to the President’s high praise. He also said that their duty is to serve the citizens and especially to manage the way public money is spent and this is a proof of the partnership and the fruitful cooperation between the two institutions.
The president of the National Audit Office of Poland, Dr. Jacek Jezierski noted that this "Medal of Gratitude" is the fruit of the cooperation between our countries' respective institutions.
In the decoration ceremony of two personalities were present the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Albania, Mr. Marek Jeziorski, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Albania, Mr. Bojan Bertoncelj, the ALSAI Chairman, Mr. Bujar Leskaj. There were present as well, Prof. Dr. Omer Stringa, Prof. Dr. Sazan Guri, President of the Institute of Chartered Auditors (IEKA), Prof. Dr. Hysen Cela, President of the National Council of Accountants, Prof. Dr. Jorgji Bolano, the former ALSAI Chairmen Dr. Blerim Cela And Mr. Mustafa Kërçuku. Dr. Soltes and Dr. Jezierski were accompanied by representatives of the Slovenian Court of Accounts, National Audit Office of Poland.
