ALSAI signs a Cooperation Agreement with University College "Luarasi"

On 30 June, the Chairman of the Supreme State Audit, Dr. Bujar Leskaj and Rector of the University College "Luarasi", Prof. Dr. Arben Malaj signed a Cooperation Agreement at the premises of the ALSAI.


The agreement comes within the common interest to cooperate in enhancing the capacities and professional knowledge of ALSAI staff on one hand, as well as in the development of curricula and scientific thinking of the Luarasi University on the other through the contribution provided by the ALSAI as the highest institution of economic and financial control.

 In his speech, the Chairman Leskaj said that this agreement has a dual importance for the Supreme State Audit. "First, ALSAI is concretizing a collaboration with one of the prestigious universities of the country, founded by a prominent personality of the academic world like Aleks Luarasi. Secondly, it is a University that preserves the tradition of developing advanced scientific thinking through Rector, Prof. Dr. Arben Malaj, who represents a high personality in the public domain, especially in economic politics, as deputy of the Albanian Parliament, as chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of Economy and Finance as Minister of Finance, and as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Bank of Albania ".

ALSAI’s Chairman Mr. Bujar Leskaj stressed that the cooperation agreement between the Supreme State Audit and the University College "Luarasi" will find a productive implementation for both parties and will extend to collaborations in scientific conferences and audits. "The Scientific Conference, organized annually by the ALSAI, will be an important focal point for cooperation in various fields of economic sciences. ALSAI will welcome the contribution of academics and pedagogues in the "Public Audit" Scientific Journal. Expertise and academic knowledge will assist the Supreme State Audit in performing performance audits and state-focused budget audits, said Chairman Leskaj.

For his part, the Rector of the University College "Luarasi", Prof. Dr. Arben Malaj praised the institutional policies pursued by the ALSAI, especially in the partnerships he creates with the local universities and the academic world. Prof. Dr. Arben Malaj considered the agreement with the ALSAI as an added value for the Luarasi University College. "In preparing university curricula, we have received valuable feedback from the ALSAI and we are confident that the cooperation with the ALSAI will be a added value for our institution. With the knowledge and experience provided by the Supreme State Audit, the engagement of Luarasi University students in internship or internship programs in ALSAI will help to increase the quality of their knowledge”.

At the conclusion of his speech, Prof. Dr. Arben Malaj said that many of the colleagues with whom he started his professional career perform important tasks in the ALSAI and, according to him, this is a testimony of the professionalism of the ALSAI staff.
